May 23, 2025, marks the sixth anniversary of the passing of Mr. Zhang Shiping, the esteemed founder and former Chairman of Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group. On this solemn day, the Group held a memorial ceremony to honor and remember Mr. Zhang, express heartfelt remembrance, reaffirm the original aspiration of “entrepreneurship for the country and benefiting the people,” carry forward the mission of serving the nation through industry, and inspire all employees to forge ahead, contributing Weiqiao’s strength to the high-quality development of Chinese modernization.

Attending the ceremony were officials from Beihai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Bincheng District, Zhanhua District, Huimin County, Yangxin County, Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zouping City, and Zouping Economic and Technological Development Zone, as well as representatives from Weiqiao Town, Shiping Charity Foundation, the Zouping Entrepreneurs Association and Women Entrepreneurs Association. Also present were Group executives at department level and above, key personnel from headquarters and the aluminum division, representatives of frontline employees from production areas and business units in Zouping, retired staff representatives, and employees from downstream enterprises.

During the ceremony, participants stood in silence to pay tribute to the late Chairman. Honor guards then laid floral wreaths before Mr. Zhang Shiping’s statue. Leaders and guests followed by offering flowers and visiting the memorial hall, expressing their deep respect and remembrance for the beloved Chairman.
