On July 2, Weiqiao Pioneering Group held the 2025 Mid-Year Work Summary and Commendation Conference for “Outstanding Party Members, Party Workers, and Advanced Party Branches” as well as “Technical Experts.” The meeting comprehensively summarized the work in the first half of the year, deployed key tasks for the second half, and commended individuals and teams that demonstrated outstanding performance in Party-related work and technical innovation. Chairman Zhang Bo delivered an important speech.

Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Group, announced the Decision on Commending Outstanding Communist Party Members, Excellent Party Workers, and Advanced Party Branches and the Decision on Commending the 2025 Technical Experts. Executive Director and Deputy General Manager Zhang Yanhong and all other members of the Group’s leadership team attended the meeting and presented awards to representatives of the honorees.

In his speech, Chairman Zhang Bo extended warm congratulations to all the awardees. He stated that in the first half of the year, faced with intense competition in both domestic and international markets, the Group’s Party Committee headquarters led all cadres and employees to thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of Party committees and governments at all levels, and to earnestly carry forward the patriotic feelings and entrepreneurial spirit of the late Chairman Zhang Shiping. With perseverance and pioneering efforts, the Group achieved solid results in all areas of work and made due contributions to promoting local economic development.

Regarding the future development of the enterprise, Zhang Bo offered his views on further advancing all-round innovation, digital and intelligent transformation, and talent team building.

The meeting was presided over by Xu Xiangzhong, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of the Group. A total of 51 Outstanding Communist Party Members, 20 Excellent Party Workers, 20 Advanced Party Branches, 14 Leading Teams in Technological Innovation, 27 Skilled Workers, 37 Operation Technical Experts, 35 Equipment Technical Experts, 34 Energy-Saving and Efficiency Awards, and 14 Scientific Research and Innovation Awards were commended.

The conference was held in a hybrid format with the main venue at the Group’s headquarters auditorium, and over 50 sub-venues set up across production areas in Weiqiao, Weihai, Binzhou, Qingdao, Linyi, Dezhou, Qinghe, Huanghua, Beijing, Shenzhen, Yunnan, and Indonesia.
