Lin Qiang, Chairman of Weihai CPPCC Municipal Committee, and His Entourage Visit the Group for Research

On February 27, Lin Qiang, Chairman of the Weihai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a delegation to visit and conduct research at Weiqiao Pioneering Group. Also joining the research were Song Xiuqian, Secretary-General of Weihai Municipal CPPCC; Yu Xiaodong, Secretary of the Huancui District Party Committee and Principal of the District Party School; Liu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Chief; and Sun Jun, Director of the District People's Congress Standing Committee.Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group; Zhang Hongxia, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Group; and Zhang Yanhong, Director and Executive Vice President of the Group, held a discussion and exchange meeting with Lin Qiang and his entourage.

 

Lin Qiang introduced Weihai's economic and social development in 2025, and fully affirmed the economic and social contributions made by Weiqiao Pioneering Group's projects in Weihai. He stated that the city would continue to optimize the business environment and policy support, fully support project development, and look forward to deepening cooperation between the two sides to create a new situation of mutual benefit and win-win results.

Zhang Bo welcomed the delegation and thanked the Weihai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their support. He expressed willingness to deepen strategic cooperation between the two sides, focus on high-end manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, and digital-intelligent upgrading, promote practical cooperation, and jointly boost the high-quality development of the regional economy.

During the discussion, the government and enterprise sides also exchanged views on industrial planning, innovation-driven development and coordinated growth. Both sides agreed to strengthen communication and coordination to further deepen cooperation.
