On May 9, Li Chuntian, Secretary of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation to inspect Weiqiao Pioneering Group and held a work symposium.

Present at the event were Ding Feng, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee; Wang Guangzhong, Deputy Director of Binzhou Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee; Lü Mingtao, Vice Mayor of Binzhou Municipal People's Government; Hu Yunjiang, Vice Chairman of Binzhou CPPCC and Director of Binzhou Municipal Finance Bureau; Zhang Qian, Secretary of Zouping Municipal Party Committee; Sun Dongping, Deputy Secretary of Zouping Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zouping, as well as other leading officials from Binzhou and Zouping. Also in attendance were Zhang Bo, President of Binzhou Enterprises & Entrepreneurs Federation and Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and President of the Group, and other enterprise representatives.

Before the symposium, Li Chuntian and his entourage conducted on-site inspections at projects including Shandong Hongshun Circular Technology Co., Ltd. affiliated to the Group, and fully recognized the practical results achieved by these projects.

At the symposium, Li Chuntian expressed sincere gratitude to governments and enterprises in Zouping for their contributions to the high-quality economic development of Binzhou. He emphasized that Binzhou will always adhere to the tenet of making enterprises and entrepreneurs feel reassured and supported, and continuously optimize the local business environment. He expected governments and enterprises in Zouping to join forces, take solid leading responsibilities in project construction, innovative development, reform and opening up, people’s livelihood improvement and safe development, and jointly strive for sound development of Zouping and Binzhou.

Zhang Qian presided over the meeting and remarked that Zouping will strictly implement superior decisions and arrangements, focus on enterprise services, people’s livelihood guarantee, settlement of long-standing historical issues and pragmatic work, further strengthen advantageous industries and promote greater progress of regional economy.

On behalf of local entrepreneurs, Zhang Bo stated that enterprise transformation must be based on core businesses with accurate judgment on future trends, rather than pursuing transformation for transformation’s sake. He proposed that the government take the lead in carrying out systematic industrial research to guide enterprises to cultivate emerging industrial tracks, and drive the industrial development shift from passive transformation to proactive leading development.

On behalf of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, Zhang Hongxia said the Group will fully implement the development strategies of the 15th Five-Year Plan, focus on upgrading eight core quality dimensions, prioritize progress in project construction, technological innovation and intelligent & digital transformation, and make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Binzhou City.
