On May 19, during his inspection tour in Binzhou, Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, paid an inspection visit to Weiqiao Pioneering Group, accompanied by Shan Yi, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, Li Chuntian, Secretary of CPC Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and other relevant officials. Zhang Bo, Chairman of the Group, briefed him on the Group’s business development on site.

After an in-depth overview of the development of the Group’s new energy businesses including the molten salt energy storage project of Haineng Thermal Power, Secretary Lin Wu stressed the need to accelerate the commercialization and application of scientific and technological achievements in the new energy sector. Efforts shall be made to foster and expand industrial clusters covering new energy battery materials, equipment manufacturing and innovative energy storage, so as to facilitate the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry.
