On June 17, a symposium on the Revitalization of Weiqiao Town was held in Zouping City. Zhang Qian, Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee; Sun Dongping, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Qiao Ming, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; Zhang Qinghua, Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); and other municipal leaders attended the meeting. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, and Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and President of the Group, were invited to participate in the discussion alongside other entrepreneurs.

        Zhang Qian noted that the strategy to revitalize Weiqiao Town has entered a new stage of comprehensive development. He called on government departments at all levels to focus on industrial development, public well-being, problem-solving, and work style improvement by enhancing services for enterprises, strengthening healthcare and education resources, addressing historical issues, and ensuring the effective implementation of the revitalization strategy through practical actions.

        Zhang Bo stated that Weiqiao Pioneering Group will continue to leverage the strengths of its industrial chain to give back to its hometown, contributing to the prosperity and high-quality development of the local economy.

        During the meeting, the third batch of supporting policy measures for the revitalization initiative was officially released. Participants also visited several key projects, including the Central Hospital project, the stormwater and sewage pipeline network project, and the New Materials Industrial Park.
