On March 2, the 2021 working conference of Binzhou Textile Association was held in Weiqiao Pioneering Group. Cao Yubin, deputy mayor of Binzhou City, delivered a speech, and Lan Jianping, president of Zhejiang Institute of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a special report. Zhang Hongxia, chairman of the Association, secretary of the party committee and general manager of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, made the annual work report of the Association.

In his speech, Cao Yubin fully affirmed the achievements of Binzhou Textile Association in 2020, and evaluated that the Association had continuously strengthened its cohesion and influence through a series of colorful industry activities, and had become a planner for the development of the textile industry, the proponent of industry economic policy, the coordinator of industry economic operation, the defender of industry economic interests, and the service provider of industry economic organization. It is hoped that the association will seize the favorable opportunities of Binzhou's great development and great changes, and make new contributions to create a bright future for the construction of a prosperous and powerful Binzhou.

In the work report of the Association, Zhang Hongxia summarized the main work of the Association in 2020 and deployed the work plan for 2021. She said that in 2020, the city’s textile industry cluster achieved a revenue of 169.57 billion Yuan from its main business, a year-on-year increase of 8.17%. It had successfully completed the goals and tasks of the “13th Five-Year Plan”. In order to do a good job in the "six stability and six guarantees" and practice the "seven rich and seven strong", it had made due contributions.

Zhang Hongxia emphasized that in the new year, the Association would build a world textile, home textile and garment industry base in accordance with the work arrangements of the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, and made new and greater contributions to the construction of modern and strong Binzhou.
