On February 10, Yan Yan, director of the Social Responsibility Office of the China Textile Federation, and Dong Kuiyong, president of the China Cotton Textile Industry Association, and a delegation came to Weiqiao Pioneering Group to investigate. Zhang Hongxia, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group Company, held a symposium with Yan Yan and Dong Kuiyong, and made in-depth exchanges and discussions on jointly promoting the "double carbon" work in the enterprise textile sector and promoting the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the industry.

Yan Yan gave a detailed introduction to the progress of the "30 · 60 China Fashion Brand Climate Innovation Action Carbon Neutralization Acceleration Plan" of the China Textile Federation, and analyzed the new situation of sustainable development in the industry and the new trend of global sustainable development.

Dong Kuiyong introduced the operation of China's cotton textile industry in the past year, focusing on the domestic sales and export of end products and the future development of the cotton textile industry.

Zhang Hongxia hopes that the Social Responsibility Office of the China Textile Federation and the China Cotton Travel Association will continue to give strong support to enterprises to do a good job of "double carbon", continue to promote the deepening of the "double carbon" work of enterprises, and make new and greater contributions to the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the industry.

At the symposium, the Social Responsibility Office of the China Textile Federation also made a special research report on the Strategic Plan for the Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization Project in the Textile Sector of Weiqiao Venture Group, and the Case Analysis of the Carbon Footprint of Weiqiao Textile Products and the Exploration of the Potential for Emission Reduction. Yan Yan and Dong Kuiyong issued the honorary certificate of "2022 Pioneer Unit of Climate Innovation Action in China's Textile and Clothing Industry" to Weiqiao Textile. 

Yan Yan and Dong Kuiyong visited the Zhang Shiping Memorial Hall, and inspected the exhibition hall of Weiqiao textile creative research and development achievements, the green intelligent production workshop, the ultra-wide printing and dyeing intelligent upgrading and transformation project, the home textile and clothing intelligent hanging production line and the Weiqiao lightweight base.
