On April 19th, Meng Xiandong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Tongliao Municipal Party Committee, led a team to inspect Weiqiao Pioneering Group. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, Cui Lixin, Chairman of Shandong Innovation Group, Yang Congsen, Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, and General Manager of Shandong Hongtuo Industrial Company held a communication and docking meeting with Meng Xiandong and his team.

At the meeting, Zhang Bo briefly introduced the production and operation situation of the Group in the first quarter and the strategic transformation plan of the enterprise. He stated that in the process of transformation and development, Weiqiao Pioneering Group would always balance industrial driving and social benefits. He hoped to seek cooperation points with Tongliao City through deep docking, carry out in-depth cooperation, and achieve win-win development.

Meng Xiandong stated that Tongliao City was a demonstration area for undertaking industrial transfer in the Inner Mongolia East region. The development of the aluminum industry had a good foundation, obvious advantages, and a large space, with abundant green power resources. He hoped that Weiqiao Pioneering Group could take into account Tongliao's comparative advantages in transformation and development, and seek cooperation between both parties.

After the discussion, Meng Xiandong and his team visited Zhang Shiping Memorial Hall and conducted an on-site inspection of the 600KA electrolysis series production line.
