On April 21, Wu Qingwen, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Suzhou, met with Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, and Cui Lixin, Chairman of Shandong Innovation Group, who were visiting Suzhou for inspection.

During the meeting, Wu Qingwen expressed sincere welcome to the delegation on behalf of Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and briefly introduced the industrial and economic development of Suzhou City.  Wu Qingwen said that on the basis of close cooperation with Xiangcheng District and with Weiqiao (Suzhou) Lightweight Research Institute as the link, Weiqiao Pioneering Group was welcome to continue to layout Suzhou, promote relevant cooperation and achieve more innovative and win-win results.

Zhang Bo briefly introduced the development history and future development plan of Weiqiao (Suzhou) Lightweight Research Institute. He said that Suzhou was a highland for talent accumulation, full of innovation vitality and solid industrial foundation. The Group would actively carry out industrial docking with the local area, seek cooperation meeting points, strive to achieve more extensive and in-depth cooperation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of China's manufacturing industry.
