On September 14th, Zhang Bo，Chairmanof Weiqiao Pioneering Group， met with a delegation from China Baowu Steel Group led by General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary Hou Angui, who visited for discussions and exchanges, at the group's headquarters.

Through in-depth discussions, both parties reached important agreements. They acknowledged the strong potential for cooperation and mutual trust between the two sides. As leading enterprises in the state-owned and private sectors, they pledged to shoulder their responsibilities as major corporations, prioritize national interests, seek common ground while respecting differences, and leverage their respective strengths. They aim to expand and deepen cooperation in areas such as overseas resource development, supply chain construction, and industrial complementarity. Together, they intend to establish a positive international image for Chinese companies and achieve mutually beneficial development.

During the meeting, both sides also provided updates on their respective production and business situations and exchanged views on products, resources and other cooperation matters.

As part of the visit, Zhang Bo accompanied the delegation on a field trip to Weiqiao’s alumina company, new materials company, 600KA electrolytic series production line, and the Weiqiao Lightweight Base.
