Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province issued the plan for the second batch of provincial technological innovation projects for the year 2023. Two projects submitted by Weiqiao Textile Co., Ltd., namely the advanced digital jacquard fabric design R&D and industrialization, and the joint project of Weiqiao Textile Co., Ltd. and Shandong Weiqiao Wide-Width Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. focusing on key technologies for plant-based dyeing R&D and and industrial application, have been selected for this program.

Currently, these two projects have applied for five national invention patents and have been granted one utility model patent. The Dunhuang colorful jacquard Chinese-style fabric series has received the Gold Award of the "Bohai Cup" Creative Design Competition.
