On December 21, the opening ceremony of the Zouping Olympic Sports Park, funded by the Shiping Charity Foundation, took place alongside the Zouping City Fitness Exhibition. This event marked the official opening of Zouping Olympic Sports Park. The ceremony was attended by Lu Mingtao, Deputy Mayor of Binzhou and Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee; Zhang Qian, Deputy Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zouping; Zhang Hongxia, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co., Ltd.; Qiao Ming, Director of the Standing Committee of the Zouping People’s Congress; Sun Lihua, Chairman of the Zouping Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and other officials.

        In his speech, Zhang Qian, on behalf of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, extended heartfelt congratulations on the park’s completion and opening. He also expressed sincere gratitude to Weiqiao Pioneering Group for their funding contributions, as well as to the builders and staff involved in the project. He stated:

        "Zouping Olympic Sports Park was funded and built by Weiqiao Pioneering Group through the Shiping Charity Foundation. The project involved significant investment and high construction standards, fully reflecting Weiqiao Pioneering Group’s commitment to the nation and the people. It demonstrates the sense of social responsibility that a leading enterprise carries."

        In her remarks, Zhang Hongxia emphasized that Weiqiao Pioneering Group actively supports the initiatives of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee and Government. Guided by the core values of "creating for the country, benefiting the people," the company has taken on a series of projects to enhance public welfare, including the construction of Zouping Olympic Sports Park. She noted that this project embodies the entrepreneurial spirit, patriotic devotion, and people-first philosophy of the company’s late chairman, Zhang Shiping.

        After the ceremony, attendees watched the city-wide fitness exhibition and toured the Olympic Sports Park.
