On February 6, Zhang Qian, Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee, conducted a field survey of the Qinghe First Road upgrading project, the public convenience bridge in Weiqiao Town, and the production zone of Minghong Company. He was accompanied by Zhang Hongxia, Party Committee Secretary and General Manager of Weiqiao Pioneering Group.

The Qinghe First Road upgrading project and the public convenience bridge are community-focused initiatives funded by Weiqiao Pioneering Group through the Shiping Public Welfare Foundation. These projects reflect the Group’s active participation in public welfare endeavors to benefit local communities and give back to society. Zhang Qian and his delegation inspected the construction progress on-site, listened to reports from project leaders, and affirmed the critical role of the road and bridge in improving public transportation and boosting local economic development. He emphasized that people’s livelihood projects are not only about infrastructure enhancement but also about elevating residents’ quality of life. He urged strict adherence to quality and safety standards while accelerating construction to deliver benefits to the public as soon as possible.

At Minghong Company’s production zone, Zhang Qian toured the workshops to gain detailed insights into the company’s operations. He praised Weiqiao Pioneering Group’s outstanding contributions to local economic growth and job creation, encouraging the company to expedite intelligent transformation, improve production efficiency and product quality, and drive industrial structure optimization and upgrading to further bolster Zouping’s economic development. Zhang Qian reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting enterprises with enhanced services and a favorable business environment. He called for stronger government-enterprise collaboration to promote the prosperity of Weiqiao Town and advance Zouping’s goal of building a robust industrial city.
