From December 14 to 15, Dong Guanpeng, Vice President of the China Public Relations Association and Dean and Professor of the National Institute for Public Relations and Strategic Communication at Communication University of China, led a delegation to visit Weiqiao Pioneering Group for exchanges and discussions. During the visit, Professor Dong delivered a special lecture on “Corporate Reputation Management and Public Opinion Guidance in the All-Media Era” as part of the Group’s Integrated Digital Intelligence Leadership Program.
Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group; Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and President; Zhang Yanhong, Executive Director and Vice President; all participants of the Integrated Digital Intelligence Leadership Program; as well as heads of relevant production bases and functional departments attended the lecture through a combination of online and offline participation.
Drawing on representative case studies, Professor Dong provided an in-depth analysis of information dissemination patterns in the all-media environment, interpreted the underlying logic and risk prevention mechanisms of corporate reputation management, and offered professional guidance on strategic frameworks and practical approaches to public opinion guidance.
Chairman Zhang Bo expressed his appreciation to Professor Dong for the insightful lecture, noting that the course effectively combined theoretical depth with practical value and offered important insights for the Group’s digital and intelligent transformation as well as the development of its brand and public relations systems. He emphasized that Weiqiao Pioneering Group will take this lecture as an opportunity to further enhance brand communication and public relations management capabilities, establish a standardized public relations framework, strengthen trust-based relationships, and lay a solid foundation for building a century-old enterprise and achieving high-quality development.
During the visit, Professor Dong and his delegation toured the Zhang Shiping Memorial Hall, the Weiqiao Textile Green Intelligent Manufacturing Plant, the 600kA Smart Electrolysis Plant, and the Group’s Exhibition Hall.
