From March 17 to 18, Academician Lü Jian, Member of the French National Academy of Technologies, Dean and Chair Professor of the College of Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, and President of the Hong Kong Materials Research Society, led a team to visit Weiqiao Pioneering Group for exchanges. Chen Qingling, Development Manager (President's Office) of City University of Hong Kong, accompanied the visit. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, held a discussion meeting with Academician Lü Jian.

During the discussion, Zhang Bo introduced the Group's industrial upgrading and scientific and technological innovation layout, expressing expectations to deepen cooperation with City University of Hong Kong in the research and development of advanced materials, transformation of scientific and technological achievements and other fields, and jointly build an industry-university-research-application innovation platform.

Academician Lü Jian spoke highly of Weiqiao's industrial foundation and innovation achievements, hoping that the two sides will complement each other's strengths, accurately align demands and accelerate the application of scientific research outcomes.

During the visit, Academician Lü Jian's team toured the Group's production bases and conducted in-depth exchanges with the Group's R&D and technical personnel.
