On 24 May, the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund(hereinafter referred to as CCTF) and Binzhou Shiping Public Welfare Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Shiping Foundation) jointly launched the "Building a Bridge for Love" public welfare action. Starting from 2023, this project would invest a total of 30 million yuan for five consecutive years to be implemented in economically underdeveloped areas such as Yunnan Province. By improving the hardware facilities of rural schools, funding disadvantaged children in compulsory education, providing care services for adolescent girls, and enhancing the vocational skills of vocational college girls, it was expected to help more children achieve their life dreams and have a better future, benefiting over 30000 children.

At the launch ceremony, Chen Xiurong, chairman of CCTF, and Zhang Bo, Joint chairman of Shiping Foundation, delivered speeches respectively. Deng Yong, Joint chairman of Shiping Foundation, and Zhang Yanhong, secretary general of CCTF, signed a donation agreement. Zhang Yanhong accepted donations on behalf of CCTF and issued a donation certificate to Zhang Hongxia, director of Shiping Foundation. Chen Fang, a member of the Party Group and vice chairman of Yunnan Women's Federation, gave a video speech. The launch ceremony was presided over by Wang Haijing, deputy secretary general of CCTF.

Chen Xiurong pointed out that all parties involved in the project should fully leverage their respective advantages to carry out the project’s implementation work, and effectively deliver the care of the Party and society to the children and their families in difficult areas.

Zhang Bo stated that on the basis of their previous cooperation in supporting children's education, CCTF and Shiping Foundation had once again joined hands to launch the "Building a Bridge for Love" public welfare action. He hoped to further deepen cooperation, jointly ensure the healthy growth and all-round development of children in disadvantaged areas, and contribute to the revitalisation of rural education.

Chen Fang stated that women's federations at all levels in Yunnan Province would solidly fulfill their leadership and service liaison functions, conscientiously, meticulously, rigorously, and normatively implement the "Building a Bridge for Love" public welfare action, and strive to be a guide for children's growth, a guardian of children's rights, and a dream builder for children's future.
