On August 26, mudslides on the Nepalese side of the border struck Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, Shigatse, Xizang, causing significant casualties and leaving a number of people missing.
         Following the disaster, Weiqiao Pioneering Group immediately activated its emergency response mechanism and, through the Shiping Public Welfare Foundation, donated RMB 10 million to the China Charity Federation. The donation will be used specifically for emergency rescue, temporary resettlement of affected residents, and post-disaster reconstruction in disaster-hit areas of Gyirong County. The Group will continue to closely follow developments in the disaster-hit areas, stand together with affected communities, and support efforts to rebuild their homes.
